Intelligent Power and Systems, as a core technology underpinning the modern energy transition, play an irreplaceable role in constructing new power systems and achieving the "Dual Carbon" strategic goals. Its innovation and development have become a strategic high ground in global energy technology competition. To implement the important directive of President Xi Jinping—"Promote energy technology revolution to drive industrial upgrading"—the nternational Conference on Intelligent Power and Systems (ICIPS) has been successfully held for four consecutive years since 2021 in cities including Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Yichang, attracting over 1,500 scholars and industry experts worldwide.
Building on this solid foundation, we are proud to announce:
The 6th International Conference on Intelligent Power and Systems (ICIPS 2026) will be held in Dalian, China, from October 24-26, 2026! Hosted by Dalian University of Technology, this edition will focus on cutting-edge topics such as "Smart Grid and Energy Internet," "AI-Driven Power System Optimization," and "Power Technology Innovation under Dual Carbon Goals," aiming to deepen global collaboration and foster the integration of technological breakthroughs with industrial applications.
At present, the construction of new power systems dominated by renewable energy is accelerating rapidly. The convergence of artificial intelligence, digital twins, blockchain, and energy storage technologies with power systems is driving transformative advancements. ICIPS 2025 will gather global leaders from academia and industry to engage in in-depth discussions on critical issues, including intelligent dispatching, flexible transmission and distribution, power IoT, and low-carbon energy synergy. Additionally, dedicated sessions for industry-academia-research collaboration will be organized to address China’s key technological bottlenecks in intelligent power systems and lead the global energy transition wave.
We cordially invite scholars, engineers, and industry representatives worldwide to submit papers and attend the conference! Join global peers in exploring the future of intelligent power systems and ignite a new era of green energy through innovation!
All papers will be reviewed by two or three experts from the committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers of ICIPS 2026 will be published in the Conference Proceedings of IEEE(ISBN:979-8-3195-2213-9), and will be indexed by IEEE Xplore, EI Compendex and Scopus.
