Prof. Xinzhen Wu, Qingdao University, China

Xinzhen Wu received the B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1986, the M.S. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, in 2006, all in electrical engineering.

He has authored or coauthored more than 200 technical papers, and 20 authorized patents. He is currently the Principal Investigator of Key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His research interests include design, analysis, and control of multiphase electric machines and their systems.

Prof. Wu is a Board Member of the Professional Committee on Electrical Machinery in Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and a Board Member of the Professional Committee on China Electrotechnical Society for Magnetic Field Modulated Motor.
