Dong Zhang, Ph.D. degree in engineering, Innovative Researcher of Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEE, CAS), tutor of postgraduates, expert of national science and technology expert database, expert of national power grid expert database, expert of China electricity union expert database. The main research interests are superconducting magnet technology, superconducting machine, superconducting power cable, superconducting power technology, induction heating technology and flywheel energy storage technology. Presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects and a number of enterprise projects, and participated in National key R & D plan project and 863 projects. He has been engaged in the research and development of rotating electromagnetic coupling technology for a long time, focusing on the research and development of key materials and core components for the system and system design, optimization and integration technology, actively exploring new electromagnetic coupling technologies with high energy density and large capacity, and carrying out application demonstration research.
